After 13 years of ministry, God began to give Laura and I a burden for Starkville, home to Mississippi State University. We moved to Starkville in March 2009 and our goal became to start a church in Starkville that is real, relevant and relational. Come check it out!
Having grown up in a college town as the son of two university faculty, I grew to love the college scene. After completing my Bachelors in Education and Masters of Divinity, I served ten years as Outreach Pastor at Cathedral of the Cross in Birmingham. I had the privilege of leading 175 of the greatest volunteers in ten outreach ministries that touched thousands outside the church each year. My passion for the nations has led me to take twelve mission trips to nine countries.
Laura, a native of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, came to Christ as a college student. She finished her bachelors in business at Samford University. In 2003, she resigned her job as Corporate Project Manager at Southtrust Bank to take on a new project – raising our first born daughter Hannah Rebecca. In 2005 Evelyn Moriah “Evie” was born. Laura also has a passion for missions and has traveled to many countries. She is known for her love for people. She also has a great eye for photography and skilled with photoshop.
